Went to Stanford the beginning of June for required Neuro-psychological testing. Ken LOVED the challenge .... actually, he told the nurse that he hoped to be the first to 'ace' the tests!!! I think he almost did it!
Ken passed with flying colors ---- I just tell people "Stanford says he's smart" :)
Got put on "hold" for two months .... waiting for a follow-up requested by the DRs...... I guess everybody was on vacation!!!
Had a great appointment on September 22 & got a call last Friday to let us know that WE HAVE A CONFIRMED SURGERY DATE OF:
NOVEMBER 13th ----- YAHOOOOOO!!!
(yes, it's FRIDAY the 13th --- but we think it's the perfect date, since Ken was BORN on Friday the 13th ---- a great day, in our book!
We'll need your prayers more than ever ...... we'll be traveling to Stanford (3 hrs) every week in the month of November - what with Pre-op/2 Surgeries/Post-Op...... anybody like to drive?!?!?!?
Ken's excited ....... real excited ........
